The Hudson Valley inns and resorts on this list have curated the perfect poolside experience for your next getaway or staycation. Enjoy a view of the Catskill Mountains while you dip into the pool at the Glen Falls House. After your swim, savor tasty poolside eats from the taqueria, open from 2pm to 9pm every Sunday. Every weekend, jam out to a range of music poolside, Saturdays from 12pm to 8pm and Sunday from 12pm to sunset. This summer, The Glen Falls House is taking part in the Summer of Joy 2022 hosting a variety of music from July 29 to 31, with a lineup that includes Akanbi, DJ Voices, Downstairs J, Amelia Holt, and many other new artists.

Overlooking the Willowemoc Valley on 600 acres of private land in the Catskill Park sits The DeBruce. The land spans two mountains, a river, several ponds, and a private pool. The old boarding house, located in Livingston Manor, holds 12 guest rooms and has an outdoor swimming pool with lounge chairs for in-house guests. Visitors can also venture to ponds or slip into a swimming hole along the creek, which is also prime fly fishing territory. The DeBruce’s Club Room is open post-swim, Monday through Friday from 5:30pm to 9:30pm for drinks and dinner.

Callicoon Hills is a century-old resort settled into the Catskill Mountains that offers modern amenities while retaining a vintage feel. One of their most notable amenities is their crystal clear, king-sized pool, open from June through October. After a swim, enjoy musical performances every Wednesday night at 8pm in the Callicoon Hills barn.

Located in Accord between the Catskills and Shawangunk ridge on the site of the old Rondout Golf Club, Inness sits on 220 acres designed to balance rugged nature and manicured spaces. Inness has two saltwater pools for guests to enjoy. The larger pool is located next to the Events Barn and is decked out with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a seasonal pool bar. The second pool is smaller and round, conveniently located for guests staying at the Farmhouse or wanting to be close to the Farmhouse Kitchen for a snack.
