Jacuzzis feature in many imaginings of what a perfect backyard setup might look like — after all, they’re like a socially acceptable outdoor bath with constant bubbles, and one that’s OK to drink in, too (just mind the dehydration!). And given that we, in much of the continental U.S., experience less-than-hot weather during three seasons of the year, having a warm pool of water at the ready to relax in just makes sense. Right now, you can take up to $1,750 off both jacuzzis and saunas over at Home Depot, making it the perfect time to take your backyard from suburbs to five-star resort. 

Several Lifesmart jacuzzi models are on sale, including ones with ozone water care systems and multicolor underwater LED lights for a party vibe, should you so choose. (They also have cupholders!) Whether you go plastic or with fake-wood siding is up to you, but you’ll be saving a ton of money either way. The options also come with varying numbers of jets, from 28 to a whopping 90. 

You also can find Maxxus infrared saunas (built for two) on sale during the Home Depot promotion, which come with features like Bluetooth sound systems and chromotherapy. 

And yeah, we get it, saunas might be a little more of a hard sell: They’re not as popular as jacuzzis are, but trust when we say that it’s the perfect addition to your daily routine. Over in the cold of Northern Europe, it’s not unusual to find a sauna in someone’s house or backyard that gets daily use, and TBH it’s about time that the U.S. started adopting that cultural tradition. Whether you go in nude or not is up to you — the Germans are all for it, to the point whereby a friend of mind found herself sauna-ing with her partner’s naked Bavarian family, making for a nice icebreaker — but there’s nothing like a good sweat to restore some calm and give your skin a little glow.
