The resort just opened last year!
The sunny season is here and it’s nearly warm enough to hit the hills, valleys, and forests for a comfortable weekend in the bush. Luckily, because roughing it is not for everybody Alberta has a ton of Glampsites where even the most unwilling ‘campers’ will have a good time.
One of Alberta’s newest spots? Urban River Adventures outside of Edmonton – an extraordinary escape with unique options, activities, and over 128 acres to explore.

Relatively new to the scene, Urban River just opened last year and has since added some incredible features that really set it apart from others in the area.
These incredible additions include Eco-Tourism grounds with dome homes and cabins – VIP packages with meal kits, and they even offer tree camping where guests sleep suspended off the ground in a hammock-like tent.

Heck, the site also has cedar hot tubs and a sauna where you can really wind down – but that’s not even half of it!
For a few bucks extra, those who stay at this unreal resort can also rent kayaks, river floats, and paddleboards, they can go gold panning and are encouraged to take backcountry Camping Workshops as well as Island Hopping Tours – they’ve really got it all!

All you need to bring, are your clothes, food, toiletries, and games – if they’re your thing.
There’s really nothing like it – but it’s expected to get busy pretty quick, so make your reservations now. Booking is now open for May 15th – October 2nd!
