Jonah Hill is quite the busy bee in the so-called Colony, arguably Malibu’s most prestigious gated community. Now that he’s just bought a new oceanfront residence on a particularly desirable strip of sand, the actor’s other Colony house — a landlocked property that’s almost directly across the street — has predictably popped up for sale, listed with Justin Feil and Chris Feil of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties.

The two-time Oscar nominee (“Moneyball,” “The Wolf of Wall Street”) is asking nearly $15 million for the sleek contemporary digs, which he acquired from Chrome Hearts founders Richard and Laurie Stark  just over a year ago, paying “just” $9 million. But Hill did extensively customize the premises during his tenure, most notably painting the boxy structure’s formerly all-white exterior  a trendy shade of charcoal gray.

Once inside, four bedrooms and four baths are filtered across about 3,600 square feet of living space that has also undergone Hill-centric design tweaks. The place also comes with an attached garage and wide driveway out front, plus deeded access rights to the beach that’s right across the street.

A gated courtyard leads into the main level of the three-story home. From there, an entry area with built-in shelving steps down into a double-height fireside living room boasting clerestory windows and French doors for lots of natural light; an adjacent kitchen is outfitted with a dining table, chic ebony-hued cabinetry and high-end appliances.

An upstairs mezzanine level wraps around to two guest bedrooms, as well as a spacious master retreat hosting a thickly veined marble fireplace, sitting area, balcony, and spa-inspired bath equipped with a custom oversized shower and dry sauna. Topping it all off: a large third-level roof deck offering up peekaboo ocean views.

Though compact, the secluded backyard is nicely landscaped and comes complete with upscale amenities like an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and bar that extends to an al fresco dining area and a lagoon-style pool, plus a spa and sauna.

In addition to his pair of Malibu Colony getaways, Hill also owns a posh NoHo loft in New York City that’s currently under contract to be sold, asking just under $11 million.
