CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Visceral fat can be notoriously difficult to ditch, but some of the latest research behind the relationship between weight loss and infrared sauna use suggests frequency just may be the best fat buster yet!

For those without a personal, in-home infrared sauna unit, and/or for those simply stalemated in their current diet and exercise endeavors wanting more information on how frequency can optimize physiology, House of Hertz Vibrational Wellness Studio will be hosting a free lecture hour on July 27 at 5:30 p.m. entitled “Issues in the Tissues & How Infrared Can Help.”

Attendees can expect to hear the evidence-based data behind the use of infrared sauna technology as it pertains to detoxification, chronic pain, weight loss, nervous system function and more.

What exactly is infrared technology?

Infrared is an invisible wavelength on the electromagnetic spectrum that humans don’t visibly experience as light, but instead experience as heat. Heat and thermogenesis upregulate metabolic processes which allot for not only the increased caloric expenditure beneficial and necessary to weight loss but many other synergistic and supporting metabolic processes, such as detoxification, which are conducive to the process as well.

If research demonstrating the potential to burn upwards of 600 calories an hour isn’t enticing enough, House of Hertz scientist Veronica Leslie Panagopoulos explained that even people who have already experienced successful weight loss and/or those who have opted for gastric bypass surgery can still benefit from infrared technology due to its toxin-purging and wound-healing qualities.

“The liver is often thought of as your No. 1 weapon for weight loss, but we believe that just as important as is the status of the liver is what the liver is in fact breaking down,” she said. “Toxin-ridden adipose tissue makes the liver work exponentially harder – once to burn the fat, and again and again until it clears the toxins contained within it. If we can limit the amount of time of the latter, lipid metabolism becomes tremendously more efficient. Targeting the adipose tissue as an organ itself is the future of all tissue-based health outcomes.”

For those new to the concept of infrared, an impromptu Google search will readily yield the mass literature and publications surrounding the findings, such as research conducted by none other than NASA, which concluded that near-infrared wavelengths definitively promoted faster cell regeneration, wound healing and tissue growth. Human cell growth, in fact, increased by 155%-171%, with wound size decreasing on average by 36%.

Weight loss the furthest thing from your mind? Panagopoulos said that how infrared impacts such conditions as autoimmune disease, chronic pain, vascular complaints, traumatic brain injuries and even depression will all be expanded upon in this lecture as well.

“The particular nanometer spectrum of infrared offered here at House of Hertz can penetrate and interact with every single tissue in the body,” she added. “Infrared is, after all, part of the life force emitted from the Sun which sustains us! This lecture is not about reinventing the wheel; merely rediscovering it.”

If learning how physics can optimize physiology sounds like your idea of a fabulous way to spend a Wednesday night, be sure to RSVP at HouseofHertz.com . Seating will be limited; however, all guests in attendance will receive a one-time offer for 50% off an upcoming infrared session. Guests will also be privy to a gratis Q & A session with Panagopoulos following the lecture, where one-on-one consultation will be available.
